Healthcare Security Planning for Southern California Facilities
Healthcare Security Systems
JMG connects your healthcare facility's access, video, fire and critical-system alerts to trained monitoring personnel, credentialed visitor protocols and redundant communication infrastructure, 24 hours a day.
Patient Safety Starts Before The First Camera Goes Up
Every figure below can be checked today. No exaggerated response times, no borrowed uptime numbers, no licenses we can't produce on request.

HEALTHCARE SECURITY RISK POINTS
Four Situations Healthcare Facilities Call Us About
Each one is a real sequence of events inside a healthcare facility, not a hypothetical risk.
01
Duress Button Testing Gaps
Duress hardware ages quietly. When a nurse needs it, response depends on equipment nobody has verified in years.
DURESS TESTING
02
Pharmacy Access Control Gaps
Campuses added by merger carry a different badge system at every entrance and no shared credential record.
ONE ACCESS RECORD
03
Fragmented Clinic Security Standards
Different vendors to call, different device lists, and no two clinics documented the same way.
ONE STANDARD
04
Missing Security Logs
Testing dates and device inventories exist as somebody's memory rather than as records.
READY FOR SURVEY
Three Systems, One Facility Standard
Healthcare security has three jobs: control who reaches patients and medication, keep every unit and entrance under watch, and get a responder to a duress call before it becomes a bigger incident.
Connect With A Security Advisor01
Access & Duress Response
Badge readers, video, and restricted-area control run as one system instead of a separate lock vendor for pharmacy, NICU, and staff-only floors. Credentials restrict medication rooms and patient units to cleared staff, and duress alarms reach a live dispatcher instead of just sounding a tone at a nurses' station.
02
Video & Incident Review
Cameras cover entrances, hallways, and parking, with footage stored and searchable when risk management or a family needs an incident reviewed.
03
Fire & Life Safety
Detection and notification cover every unit and wing, with inspection records kept as documentation so a Joint Commission survey is a formality, not a scramble.
CASE STUDY · RIVERBEND REGIONAL HEALTH
Two Clinics Grew Into A Nine-Site Network, On One Standard.
The rollout from admission to today: what each site had, what got installed, how staff adjusted, and what's running now.
SITUATION
The health system partnered with us in 2014 with two outpatient clinics, then added seven more sites through mergers, each arriving with its own door hardware, its own alarm panel, and its own camera contract already in place.
APPROACH
Account manager Nora Fitzgerald and installation lead Samuel Okeke replaced each site's mismatched equipment with the system's chosen access and video standard, scheduling work around patient hours so care was never interrupted.
OUTCOME
9
Sites now share one duress-response protocol and one central monitoring account, up from the two the network started with.
ONGOING
VP of Facilities Grace Tanaka walks through what changed for nursing staff and how badge access works differently now, in the client's video.
YOUR FACILITY'S EXISTING SYSTEM
Preserving Working Infrastructure
Replacing every system is the easiest proposal to write, and rarely what a healthcare facility needs.
USUALLY STAYS
Retained System Components
01
Cabling and conduit that still meets code
02
Cameras and badge readers within their service life
03
Panels a manufacturer still supports
04
Credentials your staff already carry
USUALLY REPLACED
Justified Equipment Replacement
01
Equipment a manufacturer has stopped supporting
02
Duress hardware that hasn't been tested recently
03
Communication paths with no monitored backup
04
Devices that would fail a Joint Commission survey as they stand
Which list a given device lands on is decided by the walkthrough at your facility, not a catalogue. You receive the reasoning in writing before anything is ordered, and the assessment is free whether or not you go ahead.
WHAT CHANGED
What Changed, In Numbers
Every figure on this page is one the health system approved for release.
9
SITES ON ONE STANDARD
Riverbend Regional Health grew from two outpatient clinics to nine through merger, and every one of them now runs the same access and video platform instead of nine separate vendor contracts.

Zero
SERVERS FOR HOSPITAL IT TO RACK
Nothing In The Server Room To Patch
Updates arrive the way they do on a phone, off an already-stretched hospital IT team. No server competing for space with clinical systems, and no maintenance window to schedule around patient care.
WHY JMG
Five Things A Healthcare Facility Can't Buy From A Manufacturer
What a health system gets from a security partner instead of a single vendor.
01
OUR OWN NETWORK
Private Alarm Network
A private, self-healing radio mesh, FCC and UL licensed to JMG. If a duress or fire path drops, the event is raised, not missed during a shift change.
02
BY DESIGN
Vendor-Neutral Design
We do not manufacture anything. We design with 19+ manufacturers, so the recommendation fits your facility's compliance requirements, not a sales quota.
03
NOT SUBCONTRACTORS
In-House Field Teams
JMG technicians work out of every Southern California region. Same credentialed people, same standard, same paperwork, every time they're on your campus.
04
ONE PLACE TO WORK FROM
Unified Security Platform
Doors, cameras, duress alerts and fire are reached from the same place with the same permissions, not five apps across five departments.
05
HOWEVER MANY SITES
Standardized Multi-Site Security
A new clinic or wing is built to the standard your other facilities already run on, so staff and compliance teams don't relearn anything.
